The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have been rather buoyant all season under Antonio Conte, with the Blues once again sitting proudly atop English football.
Having so meekly surrendered their crown last term, the west London giants look extremely well-placed indeed to lift the biggest prize in the domestic calendar in May and recent reports suggesting forward Diego Costa was close to penning a new deal at Stamford Bridge had our punters dancing on the pool tables.
In fact, recent goings on look to have had quite the positive impact on the Spanish marksman himself.
In stark contrast to the miserable figure he cut last term, the Blues have posted a video on their official Twitter account of the 28-year-old in good spirits at the club’s Cobham training base. Dancing in front of his teammates ahead of this weekend’s FA Cup clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Costa looks to be in a relaxed mood.
