Chelsea’s emotional transfer reunion now in tatters

Didier DrogbaChelsea fans may have spent the last couple of days gloating over their North London counterparts Arsenal, but it seems that according to the Daily Express, they will miss out on the chance of landing Didier Drobga.

The Ivorian forward is without a doubt a legend at Stamford Bridge and we did think that he might have returned especially after leaving Galatasaray.

However, after signing a two-year deal with Serie A giantsĀ Juventus, the Blues have seen those hopes dashed.

Jose Mourinho’s relationship with the forward had always been well documented but it seems that the Ivorian has chosen to once again experience life in a different country and league.

However, an eventualĀ return to Stamford Bridge in a coaching capacity may well one day happen according to our landlord and regulars.

The Blues are looking to complete a deal for Atletico Madrid’s Diego Costa in the coming weeks and seem to now be looking at their midfield when it comes to their transfer targets.

Chelsea fans. Is this a wise move by Drogba? Did he leave on such a high that going back to end his career at Chelsea would be a bad idea? Let us know you thoughts below.
