But according to talkSPORT, it has not put striker Eduardo Vargas off potentially making his loan move from Napoli a permanent one.
The Chilean international made his R’s debut at Old Trafford on Sunday but was unable to beat David De Gea in the Red Devils’ goal.
And although the 24-year-old admitted he was knocked by the heavy defeat, he revealed it has not dampened his excitement at moving to the Premier League.
He said: “Obviously I’m saddened by the result for myself and for the team. We are a good team and we just need to keep on working.
“My job is to score goals. I’ve not played a lot of football over the past few weeks but hopefully I can get my first goal soon.”
“I have played in Spain and Italy and it was a great experience. This style of football suits me better and I have to just keep working hard so that I can stay long term.”
