Chinese side set for shock move for Crystal Palace midfielder

ZahaThe Crystal Palace fans are having a friendly game of darts in The Transfer Tavern this evening and discussing reports of a potential shock move for one of their players.

The Sun is reporting that the Premier League side could be set to receive a shock £15 million bid from Chinese Super League side Beijing Guoan, as they look to secure the service of Wilfried Zaha.

Zaha’s representatives were reportedly approached during the January window over the possibility of the player being interested in a move to the Far East and Beijing said they would return with a firm a bid during the summer, if Zaha was open to a move.

Zaha only rejoined Palace from Manchester United for £3 million last year, after a failed £15 million move to Old Trafford.

The Crystal Palace fans in The Tavern are not overly concerned with the news as they don’t see Zaha moving on anytime soon and can’t see him wanting to make such a big move away from the club at this stage of his career.

Palace fans, how important is Zaha to your side? Let us know in the comments below!
