This summer has been a very busy one for Liverpool. The fans have seen plenty of business and most of it has been superb. However, something that looks to have gone under the radar is the future of young Pedro Chirivella. The young Spanish midfielder, according to James Pearce of The Liverpool Echo, has turned down his proposed £3.5 million move to Rosenborg.

The 21-year-old central midfielder, who’s been capped by Spain at U17 level, was set to leave Anfield when Norwegian outfit Rosenborg came in for him. However, it seems the youngster is keen on making a move to either Spain or England if he is to leave Liverpool this summer and plenty of the fans have no problems with him. Liverpool’s number 68 knows he needs to leave the club for first-team football but will wait for the right move.
The proposed deal to Rosenborg saw Liverpool insert a buyback option for each of his first three seasons with the Scandinavian club, highlighting that Jurgen Klopp still sees something in the youngster. The Spaniard has previously been out on-loan to Go Ahead Eagles and Willem II in the Eredivisie and it now looks like he could be moving somewhere closet to home as he eyes up a move to either Spain or England.
