Here at the Football Transfer Tavern pints are being placed down as it is claimed by the Daily Star that it could be all change at Manchester City this summer with a wholesale clear out of the squad.
After a very disappointing season for the champions so far many people had not only been speculating over the future of Roberto Mancini but also several of the key players in the squad and now fingers have been pointed at exactly who will be getting the boot come the summer.
It is claimed that Scott Sinclair, Edin Dzeko and Samir Nasri are all up for sale as the club try to fund the purchase of new players who will help them not only make a better challenge for the title but will finally get them out of the group stages in the Champions League.
Clearly things cannot go on the way they are in the blue half of Manchester and City are eyeing up Sevilla winger Jesus Navas who despite having a £35 million buy out clause in his contract has been marked out by Mancini as someone he simply must have. The Spanish international has impressed time and time again and would be open to a big move at this stage of his career.
Not only are City after Navas but they also have their eye on 23-year-old Marco Reus who has impressed for Dortmund this season and is obtainable for around £30 million.
Can City snare Navas or Reus in the summer? Rate this rumour below.
