Manchester City face Wolves at Molineux in the earlier kick-off time of 12:30 today and yesterday during his press conference Pep Guardiola showed his class when speaking about the club’s opponents.
#PEP: Wolves destroyed the Championship. They had an incredible season. They play attractive football and attack with good players. We knew how tough it would be last season in the Carabao Cup and it was. #mancity

Guardiola will be keen to instal the mentality amongst his players that they don’t take anyone lightly. The fans are expecting a big win tomorrow nonetheless and if they can put a few past Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolves and follow up their big win from last weekend against Huddersfield then it will be a message to the rest of the Premier League that they mean business after last season’s thumping title win.
Retaining the title was always going to be the tough part of Guardiola’s job but considering Manchester United look frail, Chelsea and Arsenal are going through a transition with new managers and Tottenham failed to strengthen over the summer. That leaves only Liverpool and City who are the two favourites with the bookies to win the Premier League title. Whatever happens, you can guarantee Pep will keep his class throughout the season.

#PEP Always respectful, a true gentleman. That is the sign of a good manager and a champion.
