The player who arrived at the club last summer has not exactly made an impact on the side and has seen his profile fall quite dramatically. After spending time at Chelsea and failing to break into the first team, the winger had finally found a club he was doing well at in Swansea and then made the fateful move to the Etihad where his playing time has been limited at best. Now more famous for being Helen Flanagan’s on/off partner, the player needs a move to get his career back on track.
Steve Clarke knows Sinclair well from his time at Chelsea and is keen on bringing the forward to his club this summer. Quite if Sinclair will see this as a glamour move remains to be seen but at the end of the day he is fully aware he needs to be playing football and that is simply not going to happen at Manchester City. Given the club have netted Jesus Navas, Sinclair’s chances only look set to be limited even further and City will be willing to sell for around the same price – £6 million – that they bought him for initially. They may even go lower to get the player off their hands.
