Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern have been put on alert by comments from a club, who have confirmed their move to a quality young talent.
Mexican outlet Record MX have stated that Pachuca have confirmed that Manchester United have swooped for 20-year-old winger Hirving Lozano, who is one of the most highly-rated prospects within central American football.
The young talent is currently on duty with the Mexican national side at the Copa America, having made his debut back in February, and he’s been ever present for Pachuca in recent years, making 122 appearances for the first-team.
Vice-president of the Mexican club, Andres Fassi, confirmed United’s approach when talking to the press.
“There have been approaches [from United]. There will be time to focus on the future of Hirving Lozano. [Over] several years [we have] a structure of great relationship with many teams of England, in Portugal in Spain, in France, in Italy and in Germany.”
‘There are some agreements that allow the player to go to Europe in the future.’
Our landlord isn’t convinced though, as he feels Jose Mourinho will be eyeing to bolster the side in other areas during the summer.
