Club take action to prevent Manchester United Transfer

shawManchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern are in a great mood after climbing to the top of the Premier League table yesterday- but there’s still some concerns at the club, particularly around injuries.

There’s no doubt Louis Van Gaal has a talented squad at his disposal but the lack of competitive numbers, particularly in defence and attack, could harm their title charge this season.

Huge concerns were raised earlier this month after Luke Shaw’s horrific leg-break, sustained in the 2-1 defeat to PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League, and with the England international likely out until the back-end of the season, a January recruit could be drafted in.

One of those alleged defensive targets is Charlton Athletic defender Morgan Fox but The Daily Mirror state the Addicks will offer the 22-year-old Welsh defender a fresh deal in order to quash to approaches of the Red Devils.

Fox has recently broken in Wales’ full international squad, who are pushing for a spot in next summer’s European Championships, and it’s stated that Aston Villa, Newcastle United and West Ham are also keeping tabs on the youngster.

Manchester United fans, is your defence strong enough to win the Premier League?
