‘Come on Jose’ – United fans beg Mourinho after shocking transfer twist

The Manchester United fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern are still coming to terms with the news coming out of Madrid regarding Old Trafford hero Cristiano Ronaldo, and can’t help but dream they could see him back soon.

Reports on Friday claimed that the Real Madrid hero, who left United for the Spanish capital in 2009, wanted to leave the country and play football elsewhere, having been accused of tax fraud.

The Portuguese international has scored a staggering 406 goals in 394 games for the Galacticos since making the move from the Premier League, but his two in the Champions League final against Juventus earlier this month could well have been his last.

164 of Ronaldo’s Madrid appearances came under now United boss Jose Mourinho and, with the former Chelsea boss looking to build a team ready to take on the Premier League and Europe once again as well as the famous No.7’s Red Devils history, fans here in the Tavern are starting to put two-and-two together.

It seems that sentiment in the bar has moved onto social media as United fans beg their boss to bring the 32-year-old back to the club this summer…
