According to the ‘Daily Mirror’ Liverpool are pondering a move for Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone. Tom Huddlestone is currently out with an ankle injury following an operation he had in September. He has only made four appearances, the last being a second half substitute in the 5-1 mauling to Manchester City back in August.
It is expected that the 24-year-old should be back and running come end of the year, but will find it hard to force his way back into the starting line up. The talented midfielder will find himself down the pecking order behind the likes of Modric, Parker and Sandro once he returns and could see Liverpool as an attractive move to re-surge his career once again.
Ex Spurs and Current Anfield director of football Damien Comolli brought the young passing maestro to Spurs from Derby in 2005 for £2.5 million and could be set to bring him to Anfield. Comolli is interesting in re-signing him but it will take a substantial offer to lure him to the Anfield club. Tom Huddlestone signed a new contract in March and is tied to Spurs till 2015.
