Terry led Chelsea threw an unprecedented era of Chelsea football club and will go down as a club legend, whilst he should hit a record breaking 700th game for the club before leaving as a free agent in the summer. However, he’s confirmed he will leave this summer.
“It’s not going to be a fairytale ending, I’m not going to retire at Chelsea.”
Chelsea decided not to offer their captain a new deal as they look to start the rebuilding work that is clearly needed at Stamford Bridge, with Gary Cahill and Kurt Zouma expecting to try and fill the huge void that will be left be Terry.
There will be more casualties at Chelsea but none as significant as that of JT who had hoped to end his career at Chelsea but it is nit too be and will go with fond wishes and memories from all Chelsea fans.
