Antonio Conte and Chelsea director Michael Emenalo need to make a huge decision this summer

It is looking likely to be all change at Chelsea this summer, and the Blues in the Transfer Tavern cannot wait…

Whilst Antonio Conte has done incredibly well to get his side to the top of the Premier League table this season, the real tasks wait ahead for the Italian.

Some of the Premier League’s best teams will be looking to get one back on the Blues next year, whilst Chelsea’s re-entry into the Champions League will pose another obstacle for Conte to overcome.

A few major signings are needed in order to help Chelsea compete on all fronts, and whilst in theory that can only mean good things for Conte’s side, it seems as though he has a pretty tough task on his hands.

According to the Sun, Conte and Chelsea director Michael Emenalo need to come to a massive decision this summer – with the topic of a summer striker signing on the agenda. The Sun are reporting that Conte wants the Blues to sign Alvaro Morata of Real Madrid, whilst Emenalo is a bigger fan of Romelu Lukaku.

Indeed, disagreements between manager and board are commonplace at Stamford Bridge, but our landlord thinks that this situation is win-win for the Blues.

Both forwards are, according to him, world class – and whilst Lukaku has a better goalscoring record, Morata’s incredible technical ability more than makes up for it.
