The Chelsea fans in the pub already have one eye on the return of the Champions League next week. Chelsea do, of course, have to deal with Bournemouth at the weekend, but that’s a game that the Blues should be able to win comfortably, and their next game could have huge ramifications. They’re set to jet off to Italy next week ahead of the clash, and a win could put them in a very commanding position as they look to continue to lead their group. A loss, meanwhile, could leave things looking far more convincing. It makes sense, then, for the Blues to at the very least begin considering the fixture.
This is exactly what Antonio Conte has been doing, it seems, with the Italian offering a bit of team news regarding the Roma clash during his pre-match press conference ahead of his side’s trip to Bournemouth. N’Golo Kante, it has been revealed, could be fit to play against Roma next week – with the Frenchman continuing to edge closer to full fitness.
Antonio Conte says Moses and Kante are still unavailable for tomorrow's game. He hopes to have Kante back for Roma.

It was hoped in the pub that he would make it down to Bournemouth this weekend, but indeed it appears as though Antonio Conte is not prepared to risk the Frenchman. That’s with good reason, of course, as the Blues should be able to beat Bournemouth – who currently sit in 19th place in the Premier League.
Given how important Kante has been for the Blues this year, this is massive news.
Roma proved to be a very potent attacking outfit last time out, especially with Edin Dzeko leading the line, and so Kante’s return will be a big boost for the Blues.
He will allow the rest of the Chelsea team to push on and attack, and the importance of that cannot be understated.
The Blues have really missed him, and whilst in theory they will be able to cope this weekend, a return against Roma will be massive.
