Antonio Conte is ready to get stuck in immediately at Chelsea, following his appointment as the Blues next boss on Monday, and he’s set to decide the future of four important Blues player’s.
The Daily Mail state the Italian will sit down with John Terry, Nemanja Matic, Diego Costa and Eden Hazard to discuss the quartet’s future at Stamford Bridge, with all four linked with an exit this summer.
Captain Terry sees his contract with the Blues expire in the summer, and Conte possesses the final decision on whether to offer him fresh terms, whilst Matic, Costa and Hazard have all been linked with high-profile sales.
Hazard is a top-target for both Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, whilst Diego Costa is heavily linked with a return to Atletico Madrid- and Conte is keen to learn more about the side he’s inheriting so he can ring the changes as required.
Conte may decide he wants to keep some, or all, of the player’s he’ll sit down with but the decision may come down to the player’s themselves, with the lack of Champions League football potentially a deciding factor.
Will Chelsea keep any of these four players this summer? Share your thoughts in the comments!
