The Gooners here inside the Football Transfer Tavern are glumly sipping their pints of ale, after yet another demoralising weekend of football for the north London outfit.
Wenger’s side were comfortably defeated 3-1 by Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool on Saturday evening, ultimately ousting the Gunners from the top four, leaving them in fifth place in the Premier League.
As has become the norm nowadays, when a team is not performing on the pitch, questions very quickly turn to the manager, and in Arsenal’s case, a certain Mr Arsene Wenger.
Le Prof has well and truly been battered by the media, and none more so than the controversial figurehead that is Piers Morgan.
The television personality is seen lambasting Wenger on Twitter near enough every single day, with the 51-year-old undoubtedly part of the ‘Wenger Out’ brigade.
His latest outburst on Twitter has surprised many of the Gooners here in the Tavern, with Morgan suggesting that the club should appoint none other than Thierry Henry as the club’s new manager.
I want @ThierryHenry as Arsenal manager. He'd bring world class football & a winning mentality back to the club. #afc pic.twitter.com/bqC1pQCNYw

Our landlord thinks this is a ridiculous shout and thinks that Henry does not have the credentials nor experience to manage an elite European club like Arsenal.
Gunners fans…. What do you think of this? Would Henry be a fair shout to takeover as boss? Let us know below!
