The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have been getting more and more excited as the Gunners look to be hotting up their pursuit of a winger, with Mexico and PSV star Hirving Lozano one of their key targets according to Mexican outlet, Publimetro.
From Mexico: Arsenal intend to sign Hirving Lozano. He would be the ideal player to give #AFC the potential to attack, thanks to his speed on the wings and ease to face the rival defences.https://t.co/dVH49dKwge

As you can probably guess, Lozano will be a popular option among the Arsenal fans when you ask them which winger they want to sign this summer after watching him in the World Cup. The young winger has been a class performer for El Tri, scoring Mexico’s first goal of the tournament when they shocked the world by beating Germany 1-0 at the Luzhniki Stadium.
Now though, the Mexican’s are out of the tournament and whilst the fans will be delighted that they were able to finish above Germany in the group, they’ll be disappointed to have again fallen at the round-of-sixteen having lost 2-0 to Brazil on Monday. The Mexican players will be focusing on their club careers again now and for Lozano, that means weighing up his options as a lot of options will be on the table, Arsenal could be the perfect destination for the 22-year-old, and whatever the price tag might be, the Gunners will say it’s worth it.
You can read our local Gunners’ Lozano verdict here:
Definitely, I prefer him to all other wingers we are after. He's bold and knows when to dribble and pass. And he's young and coming.

I prefer him tbh.. He’s good on the ball, can shoot from distance. So it will be mkhi on the right, ozil 10 and lozano on the left, cutting in with his right foot

We better move from this "intent" stage quick to "arsenal are in advance negotiations" with Lozano and Club.
The Butterflies in my stomach are almost overwhelming.

Id buy a jersey so fast, faster than I was already planning to do so.

Barcelona, Madrid and Juventus on the case. Most probably second choice for these teams. If Arsenal are really in the mix and can offer him more first team appearance it can work out I think

Does he have a release clause

Whilst the price tag and interest from other clubs may prove to be a problem if Arsenal can secure Lozano it will be a superb piece of business.
