Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern all seem to be agreeing on the way they want Jose Mourinho to set up their team for this Saturday’s visit of Liverpool to Old Trafford. Mourinho was slated for playing negative football in the reverse fixture as the sides drew 0-0 at Anfield earlier in the season, just a week before Liverpool were taken apart 4-1 at the hands of a very out-going Spurs side.
TIME FOR JOSE TO ATTACK?
After holding Liverpool to a 0-0 at Anfield, must Mourinho & Man Utd be more expansive at Old Trafford this weekend? @nicholaspwright looks at their options: https://t.co/hKQC9ZCNjc pic.twitter.com/rPubOJnRGB

The early kick-off on Saturday between Manchester United and Liverpool is the biggest game of the weekend in English football as 2nd play 3rd for a chance to cement their place in the top four and to get one over their age-old rivals. With neither club having a realistic chance of catching Manchester City at the top of the table and both sides looking likely to finish in the top four, the game seems more about pride and bragging rights than ever before.
However, Jose Mourinho’s “park the bus” approach to big games has become something of a joke in English football over the last few seasons. Manchester United fans who’ve been propping up our bar have had to suffer under two negative managers in a row as Louis Van Gaal and now Mourinho have deployed their boring styles at Old Trafford, although fans will be hoping for something different come Saturday.
Here’s the verdict from our resident Red Devils:
the same way Klopp failed to bring an attacker on in the game at Anfield to try and go for the win.

With that being said, even if Liverpool were to score first, we all know they give it up at the back. Prevent their counter attacking football and United can put them to the sword courtesy of the front 4 of Martial, Rashford, Alexis and Lukaku
