The West Ham fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to comments from their manager, David Moyes. Whilst speaking to Sky Sports, the Scottish gaffer claimed that after he accepted the West Ham job, he received an offer from another Premier League club. With Moyes now waiting to hear about his future, he’s claimed that he’s not anxious over whether the Hammers keep him on or not.
David Moyes has revealed he received an offer to become the manager of another Premier League club after his arrival at West Ham.

David Moyes has seen his stock fall dramatically since his Everton days. Thr Scot was superb at Goodison Park and turned them from relegation fodder to a side consistently challenging for Europa League football, sitting comfortably around the top eight in the league and challenging the top teams whenever they faced. Since then, he’s suffered disappointing spells at Manchester United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland despite having a bit of a resurgence at The London Stadium.
David Moyes took over West Ham when they were embroiled in a relegation battle and in the months since then, the Hammers have been pulled above the dreaded drop zone and now they have secured Premier League football for the 2018/19 season with two games to spare. Even though the club has managed to stay up thanks to Moyes, the fans are still not happy with the Scot, as they want to see him depart with the Irons already speculating over their next manager.
