Crystal Palace have secured their Premier League status once again this year as Roy Hodgson has once again got the best out of enough of his players to ensure survival.

Hodgson has done a good job of getting the best form out of the likes of Wilf Zaha and Andros Townsend, while he has also overseen new players coming into the squad, including one or two young players.

One of those young players who has impressed massively has been flying fullback Aaron Wan-Bissaka, whose performances and all round potential have already caught the eye of plenty of onlooking managers and scouting teams.

However, with Wan-Bissaka playing so well, there is already talk of a move to Manchester United, although the Palace man has this week spoken of his desire to stay with the Eagles going into next season.

We here in the Tavern feel this would be the right move from Wan-Bissaka too, where a move to United would put at risk his development with game time not guaranteed at Old Trafford.

For a young player like him, he might well be best suited to staying at Selhurst Park, where he is getting good minutes, regular football, and top coaching from one of the most experienced managers in the game.

There's little doubting that Wan-Bissaka can go on to become a regular for a team right at the top end of the table, but in the short-term, another season with Palace and regular first team football would be a shrewd decision to make from the youngster.
