Crystal Palace have had a decent transfer window, snapping up a couple of useful additions under new manager Frank De Boer.
New manager De Boer will be keen to improve on what was a bit of a poor showing in the Premier League last term, with the Eagles only just finishing above the relegation zone.
However, next year represents a decent chance for them to get back on track, and our landlord thinks that with a few additions, Palace could challenge higher up the league table.
With plenty of Premier League clubs willing to delve into the Championship this summer, we think that one man who could be brilliant in the top flight is Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Sam Hutchinson.
The Owls midfielder has developed a reputation for himself as one of the Championship’s toughest tacklers, and it is somewhat surprising more clubs have not made a move for the former Chelsea man before now.
Hutchinson is a bundle of energy when he plays in the middle, and loves to stick his boot in and tackle to say the very least. There are not many players like him in the top flight at the moment, and he would certainly bring an element of toughness and fight to the Palace midfield.
While Palace might not be the most glamourous destination, it would be hard for Hutchinson to turn down a move to the Premier League, with the chance to work under such a highly regarded manager like De Boer something he would find hard to pass up on.
