Fans of Crystal Palace have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed reports that claimed the club are interested in a January move for Reading attacking midfielder, Michael Olise.
According to the report by the Daily Mail, both Palace and Leeds United are ‘looking to sign’ the £7.2 million-rated 19-year-old during the January transfer window, as the attacking midfielder has impressed in the first half of the Championship season for Reading.
Featuring in all but one of the Royals’ 23 second-tier fixtures, the former France U18 international has scored four goals and provided eight assists, as well as averaging a highly impressive WhoScored match rating of 7.04 – ranking him as the joint fourth-best performer in a side who currently sit in fifth place in the Championship table.
And, after Palace Xtra relayed the report of the club’s interest on Twitter, fans of the Eagles flocked to have their say on the matter, with many appearing delighted at the prospect of their club signing the attacking midfielder.
