When the transfer window opens again in January, Crystal Palace are just one club from the Premier League who are likely to be active.

The Eagles are currently just two points above the relegation zone in 15th place and have had troubles in front of goal with first-choice striker Christian Benteke continuously misfiring before undergoing knee surgery, which will see him sidelined until the new year.

As a result, manager Roy Hodgson could now move for a new No.9 with UOL (via Sport Witness) reporting that Crystal Palace are interested in Inter Milan’s Gabriel Barbosa, who is currently on loan at Santos.

Barbosa failed to live up to the hype after his move to Serie A back in the summer 2016, but has had a bit of a revival since returning back to Brazil.

Overall, the 22-year-old is a very technically gifted frontman who would bring much to Crystal Palace’s flat attack.
