Crystal Palace fans have shown lots of love on Twitter for a new youngster who has signed his first professional deal for the club.
Will this be Wilfried Zaha's final season at Crystal Palace?
Malachi Boateng, 17, has managed to get the deal after featuring four times for the under-23s this season, scoring once against Hull City.
Boateng is the brother of former Palace graduate Hiram, who is now plying his trade in League One with MK Dons.
Hiram Boateng is one of few Palace graduates who have managed to get a first-team debut for the club since the Eagles have been back in the Premier League, making three appearances (Transfermarkt), and you can only imagine Malachi would like to better that and become a regular for the club down the line.
Boateng is described by the club’s official website as a central player who can play in both defence and midfield.
Palace fans were happy to see a youngster sign a deal at the club. Many replied to the announcement with congratulations for the player, while others encouraged the club to give him a chance in the first-team in the near future.
