It has been a disappointing start to the Premier League season for Wilfried Zaha.

The Ivory Coast winger has struggled to make much of an impact for Crystal Palace. Indeed, he is yet to score a goal with his only real contribution being an assist against Norwich City.

The 26-year-old was linked with a move away from Selhurst Park in the summer, with both Everton and Arsenal reportedly keen on signing him.

However, a move never materialised, and instead he was forced to remain at Palace. And maybe the transfer saga has affected his early season performances – he was reportedly devastated that a move to Everton didn’t happen.

There have been flashes of his best, though, particularly against Manchester United when he teased full-back Ashley Young with his dribbling ability. And fans have been calling back to that moment following Zaha’s latest Twitter post.

The tweet shows the Ivorian in training with the ball at his feet, and is simply captioned: “You think you’ll take this from me.”

Crystal Palace supporters have been responding to it, with many of them unsurprisingly not fancying their chances of dispossessing Zaha given his immense dribbling ability.
