Many Palace fans have reminisced over Dwight Gayle’s classic goal in the famous ‘Crystanbul’ moment in 2014.
Fan account @PalaceEaglesc0m tweeted wishing Gayle a happy birthday with a video of the famous comeback which Palace made while 3-0 down to Liverpool.
Dwight Gayle scored twice as Palace managed to turn their loss into a draw within the final 12 minutes of the match.
While Tony Pulis’ Palace had already secured Premier League status in their first season back in the Premier League, it was an absolutely crucial game for Liverpool as they needed to win to keep their title chances alive and take it to the final game of the season.
The win would’ve given Liverpool a three-point lead at the top of the Premier League with one game to go, although Manchester City had a game in hand as well as a better goal difference.
Unsurprisingly, Palace fans do not mind being reminded of such a great moment for the club, as you can tell from the responses below…
Murray's assist for the third is world class. Plenty of blues enjoying this.

It is Luis Suárez' favourite memory. I guess that is why he cried so much after he was escorted from the ground.
