Many Crystal Palace fans have responded on Twitter to a message from star player Wilfried Zaha.
Will this be Wilfried Zaha's final season at Crystal Palace?
The Ivorian international tweeted after Palace’s 2-1 win over West Ham with a picture of him celebrating with the team saying ‘What it means!’.
Unsurprisingly, fans were absolutely joyous to see their star player tweet about their win with such passion, so soon after making it clear that he wanted to leave the club in the summer, handing in a transfer request on deadline day (talkSPORT).
Crystal Palace have gotten off to a flyer this season. In their eight games, they have amassed 14 points, and while Zaha is yet to score for the red and blue, he has still been a standout player. In fact, WhoScored has Wilfried Zaha as being the best player so far for them this season for players who have played more than twice, with an average rating of 7.08/10.
With Zaha claiming that playing European football was one of the key reasons why he wanted to leave Selhurst Park, many fans were quick to ask the 26-year-old what it now feels like to be playing for a top-four side (even though Arsenal and Chelsea have both leapfrogged Palace after playing on Sunday).
