Many Crystal Palace fans have responded to Wilfried Zaha after he tweeted about his excitement for Palace’s next game.
Will this be Wilfried Zaha's final season at Crystal Palace?
The Ivory Coast international wrote on his Twitter page “Back @CPFC and looking forward to the weekend”.
Zaha had been on international duty, playing for Les Elephants against DR Congo in his side’s 3-1 win. The 26-year-old had a great game, managing a stylish assist for Arsenal’s Nicolas Pepe, and finishing off by grabbing a well-taken goal in the 95th minute.
Zaha now returns to the high-flying Eagles with the club sixth in the league, having 14 points on the table after just eight matches. However, their next set of fixtures could change the look of the league quite substantially.
Palace play Manchester City at Selhurst Park on Saturday evening and remarkably could leapfrog them if they manage to pull off a shock win.
Many fans responded to Zaha’s tweet with encouraging messages. Here are some of them below…
