Many Palace fans cannot hide their excitement after Michy Batshuayi has been relinked with the club.
Will this be Wilfried Zaha's final season at Crystal Palace?
The Belgian forward has struggled for game time at Chelsea this season under Frank Lampard; therefore, he could be available to leave during the January transfer window.
According to reports from the Daily Mail, the attacker – who spent the second half of last season on loan at Selhurst Park – is being targeted by the Eagles.
Batshuayi, now 26, scored six goals in 13 matches for Palace, and with Palace now flirting with the European spaces after amounting 14 points from eight games, they are reportedly weighing up taking the striker back.
So far, the forward has made five appearances in the league, though they have all been from the bench. More positively, though, he has been able to add a goal and an assist in just 45 minutes of football in the league, as per WhoScored.
From the Palace fans – who responded to a CPFC fan news account who tweeted the story (@CPFC_NEWS_HQ) – there was pretty convincing support for his signature, even if there were a couple who were less sure about the idea of him returning.

I would love this I really would he was a great fit on loan, but I think he is happy at Chelsea and he’s a great back up striker for them
