Crystal Palace will be looking to get off to the best possible start when their Premier League campaign gets underway next Saturday.
The Eagles have enjoyed a rather successful pre-season, but they’ll now be focused on overcoming the challenges of Premier League new boys Fulham next weekend. And, it doesn’t look as if they’re finished on the transfer front either, as according to the Mail Online, Crystal Palace are in talks to sign Red Bull Salzburg’s Munas Dabbur.
Crystal Palace are in talks with Red Bull Salzburg over striker Munas Dabbur.
The 26-year-old scored 29 goals last season and has scored three goals in Salzburg’s opening two league games of this campaign.
However, Sevilla and Valencia have also shown their interest in the Israeli international.
Interestingly, the Eagles completed a couple of impressive signings last week, so it’s safe to say that things are shaping up nicely with plenty more business yet to be completed.
So, it appears as if the Eagles are looking to complete even more business by bringing Munas Dabbur to the club this summer. Although, with the likes of Sevilla and Valencia also interested in securing his services, it may be difficult for the London club to push through a deal.
Nevertheless, having completed the signing of Max Meyer, you wouldn’t rule out another tremendous swoop.
Crystal Palace are in desperate need of a striker as Christian Benteke failed to find his feet in the last campaign, so it would be nice for Roy Hodgson to know that he has back-up.
