Crystal Palace are thought to be keeping an eye on one of non-league football’s hottest prospects.
The midfielder currently turns out for Hastings United in the Bostik League and has been starring for the side with his performances.
The 18-year-old, who came through the academy system at the non-league side has been impressing a number of sides, with Palace expected to have to compete with a host of teams if they were to look to snap him up.
The likes of Brighton and Hove Albion and Watford have all been credited with an interest, whilst clubs such as Blackburn Rovers, Sunderland and Luton Town are all thought to be monitoring Lovatt.
Lovatt is clearly a man with a bright future ahead of him and could look to head to Crystal Palace, where he would work with Roy Hodgson.
Should a move to Selhurst Park happen, he would almost certainly head into the developmental side to continue playing at a regular rate, whilst getting training from a club at a higher level and better standard than where he currently is.
However, with interest from others, especially the lower league sides, Lovatt could look to head to one of those rather than a Premier League outfit as he would have a much better chance of making the first-team.
