The Scotsman reveals Crystal Palace’s intentions in the Football Transfer Tavern as they are eyeing up a £5m move Celtic’s captain Scott Brown in January.
Neil Warnock is undoubtedly looking for more steel in midfield as he faces a fight to stay out of the relegation zone, and he will hope Brown’s leadership and experience will help keep them up.
The Eagles have had the 29-year-old scouted numerous times this season and Warnock is said to be a fan of the Scottish international.
But Celtic boss, Ronny Deila, will be reluctant to lose his captain as they have just progressed in the Europa League.
Warnock will hope he can use Brown’s former teammate Joe Ledley to lure him to the club as well as his fellow Scots Barry Bannan, James McArthur and Chris Kettings.
Punters feel it would be a good move the London club as it would provide more depth and cover in midfield and his experience could lead Palace to safety.
