Crystal Palace will likely look to add firepower to their squad when the transfer window opens in January.
The Eagles currently have the likes of Christian Benteke and Alexander Sorloth as their recognised centre-forwards, and both have struggled, with widemen Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend having to contribute with the goals.
Roy Hodgson will need to find a suitable forward to add to his attacking line, and according to reports, it appears he is targeting one from Serie A.
The Italian forward has been made available as the Serie A outfit look to offload him from their wage bill and have also been disappointed with what he has brought to the side since his move from AS Roma.
However, the Eagles are not thought to be the only Premier League side to be interested in Destro, with Fulham having also been linked with a move.
Crystal Palace certainly need to bring a striker to turn their fortunes around, although there will be doubts if Destro is the man to help do that.
The Italian has not been prolific himself this season and has struggled in front of goal since joining Bologna in 2015, having hit just 26 goals in 89 appearances.
However, a move to the Premier League could reinvent him and could help to turn things around for the Selhurst Park outfit this season in what would be an inspired signing.
