Crystal Palace appear to have steadied the ship under Roy Hodgson following a miserable start to the season under Frank De Boer, and the club will be looking to push on in the final few months of the campaign and secure a mid-table finish.
The Eagles have been in some impressive form of late and with the talent at their disposal, it really was a travest that they began the season in such poor form.
However, Hodgson has turned it around, and despite a quiet January window, he will be looking forward to the summer and the chance to bring a few more of his own new signings in to help ensure there is no repeat start to the campaign next term.
Here in the Tavern, our landlord and punters think that the club need to looking into the Sky Bet Championship for talent, and one man they think deserves another shot at the top flight is current Derby County forward Matej Vydra.
The pacey forward has really found his feet this season after sealing a big money move last year to Pride Park, and has smashed in 16 goals already for the Rams as they eye a return to the Premier League themselves.
With only really Christian Benteke as a main forward threat, Palace could do with adding some other options down the middle, and Vydra fits the mould perfectly. Full of pace, bags of energy, and cool in front of goal, Vyrdra really has come on under Gary Rowett, and he could well be ready to take the Premier League by storm for Palace if the Rams cannot win that much needed promotion.
Palace fans, what do you think to Vydra? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
