Crystal Palace supporters are keeping their fingers crossed in the Football Transfer Tavern, as Alan Pardew is planning a big move for one of the Premier League’s hottest prospects.
According to The Sun, the Eagles are keen to strengthen their current crop of exciting forwards by signing West Brom’s Saido Berahino.
It is well known that Tottenham have been interested in the 22-year-old for a long time but have failed in previous windows to get a deal over the line.
And punters believe Pardew has every right to be confident of landing Berahino because the forward is entering the final year of his contract, and his market value will drop as he has no intention of renewing his contract at the Hawthorns.
For the majority of this season Tony Pulis has kept Berahino out of the team and it is likely that the Baggies will cash in on striker.
