After theoretically being barred from all of the bars in Southampton, our punters here at the Transfer Tavern are wondering whether there will be a chance for Daniel Osvaldo to reignite his career in England.
This comes after London 24 have reported that Crystal Palace have entered negotiations with the talented Argentinian, after Southampton recently terminated his contract.
It is fair to say that Osvaldo endured a mixed time on the South Coast, as although he had undoubted talent, his attitude was also questionable. The forward was recently sent on loan to Inter Milan, where he also endured a similarly difficult period. Nevertheless, it is clear that he does have talent, and perhaps with the right guidance, could still be a hit in the Premier league.
Though Palace did well under Pardew, it is fair to say that Osvaldo would certainly add more flair to the forward line of Murray, Chamakh and Ameobi, and would indeed provide an alternative dimension.
