After reading the latest reports in Sky Sports, Liverpool fans in the Football Transfer Tavern have accepted that Crystal Palace’s Yannick Bolasie is not for sale following his inspirational performance in the Eagles’ recent 3-1 victory over the Reds at Selhurst Park.
Bolasie put in an outstanding performance and Palace boss Neil Warnock has been quick to quash any rumours regarding his in-form player.
Many punters expect that Liverpool will continue to chase the winger as he has a lot of flair and pace which suits Brendan Rodgers’ preferred style of play.
Warnock is adamant that Bolasie will stay in South London in January as his contract runs out in 2017, believing that the DR Congo international feels right at home at Selhurst Park.
Warnock said: “He won’t be going anywhere in January, no chance. “He’s a great lad and the top clubs don’t know what he can and can’t do so how can they come in for him.
“I think he is made to measure for Palace. It is that kind of the club with the stage and the fans.
“He needs to find more consistency but now we have three games in a week and so we need him to perform as he did against Liverpool.”
