Crystal Palace are desperate, like many other Premier League teams, to find some consistency as they attempt to push further away from the relegation zone.
Roy Hodgson has found it problematic this season to not only score goals but to win games.
It, therefore, leaves the Eagles in 15th position and although safe for now, lapses in concentration yet again could see his side slip back down the table.
Crystal Palace are a much better team than that – by signing some new players as well they could prove it.
With injuries aplenty up-front, goals have dried up for the most part this season, something Watford’s Andre Gray could resolve.
Gray, who is valued at £13.5 million on Transfermarkt, would be a hard player to try and recruit due to playing for a fellow Premier League team but with the chance to become the main man at Palace, it’s an opportunity Gray may be persuaded to take.
The 27-year-old started the campaign in great fashion, scoring three goals in his first six games. Since though, his time on the pitch has often occurred from the bench and that will be frustrating for a player of his quality.
Crystal Palace on the other hand, have massively struggled in-front of goal and would be keen to acquire a player of Andre Gray’s talent.
Gray is a workhorse that knows where the back of the net is, plus he is a great team player as well, with his movement and speed giving him the ability to help his team.
With the extra quality around him in attack, Gray could find his confidence once again under Roy Hodgson.
