Crystal Palace will be wanting to drastically improve their squad during the January transfer window with inconsistency becoming a real issue.
Results have been very mixed across the season and with six wins in 22 Premier League matches, work still needs to be done.
They do have some talented players within their squad but they’re not consistent enough to help move the Eagles forward in the Premier League table.
Goal-scoring has also been a major issue for Crystal Palace this season and with all that in mind, their best fix is to delve into the transfer market.
Signing a hard-working Englishman like Birmingham’s Che Adams would not only solve their scoring problems but his presence could give the rest of the squad the boost they need to up their performances as well.
Adams, (who is valued at £2.2 million on Transfermarkt) has been in great form for the Championship side this season, improving on his promising performances which started last year.
The 22-year-old has impressed and been a big hit in-front of goal, scoring on 13 occasions as Birmingham have continued their rise up the table.
He may not be ready for the big jump into the Premier League but he may be considered as far better than the options Crystal Palace currently have, with the likes of Jordan Ayew, Connor Wickham and Christian Benteke only scoring two goals between them this season.
Che Adams has a good turn of pace, strength and as demonstrated by his goal-tally so far this season, he knows where the back of the net is.
Those are all top attributes in a striker and Palace would be lucky to have such an in-form player like Che Adams.
