Our Crystal Palace fans here in the Transfer Tavern are desperate to see some more signings in this transfer window and, according to The Guardian, Robbie Brady could be one.
The Eagles have had a torrid time this season when they were meant to be building something better for the future.
Under Alan Pardew the club just kept losing games and things have certainly not really turned around under Sam Allardyce so far.
The former Sunderland man knows what it takes to keep a side up, though, and our local Eagles are excited that the players he signs this month are going to be perfect to help them up.
They’re pleased, then, with the news that a £9 million bid has been agreed with Norwich City for Robbie Brady as he is one of the brightest stars in the Championship.
The Irish international can play as either a left back or left midfielder and would certainly strengthen the club’s options in that area as it is arguably their weakest spot.
Our landlord thinks it’s a great move and thinks that if Palace can get a few more in like Brady before the window they’ll stay up for sure.
