Crystal Palace supporters in the Transfer Tavern will be interested to see their club has been linked with relegated Stoke midfielder Babou Ndiaye.
The South London side have been linked with the midfielder, who only joined the Potters in January. Ndiaye joined the Staffordshire side from Galatasaray for around £14m, and made thirteen Premier League appearances. Ndiaye is currently with the Senegalese side in the World Cup in Russia.
Roy Hodgson is thought to be considering his midfield options, after uncertainty over the futures of fellow midfielders Yohan Cabaye, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The Selhurst Park outfit are not the only side to be linked, with free spending Wolverhampton Wanderers thought to be weighing up a bid. Newcastle United are also thought to be in the hunt for his signature.
Galatasaray may considering bringing the midfielder back to Turkey on a loan deal, after he impressed for them in his time in Istanbul.
Palace fans in the Transfer Tavern will likely be unsure if a move for the Ndiaye would be a wise move. Eagles fans might hope for better than a player who has just been relegated from the Premier League, and hardly set the world alight in his time in the Potteries. Fans of the Red and Blue might be hoping Hodgson considers other targets, before moving for Babou Ndiaye.
Crystal Palace fans, what do you think?
