Crystal Palace could lose forward after emotional FA Cup snub, Pardew’s decision could backfire

Crystal Palace fans in the Transfer Tavern could face even more heartache from their FA Cup final defeat to Manchester United.

According to The Sun, Jason Puncheon is still bitter about not starting the match and is looking for an exit after being snubbed at Wembley.

Eagles boss Alan Pardew admitted the Croydon born star was ‘angry’ at being left out of the starting line up and he now could face an uphill task of making him stay in South London.

The 29-year-old was at boiling point when the manager gave him nod to come on to field and he scored the opener on the 78th minute, before shouting and screaming towards the dug out as he wildly celebrated.

Thankfully for the former Southampton ace, his teammates restrained him as they gathered around him in celebration, which prevented the forward from hurling any more abuse towards his manager.

Crystal Palace fans. Do you think Alan Pardew was right to leave Jason Puncheon out of the starting 11? Let us know your thoughts.
