The normally quiet Crystal Palace in the Transfer Tavern have started to get excited as it looked like a new right back might be coming to Selhurst Park.
Ghana Soccernet reports that Alan Pardew is looking to swoop for the out of favour Augsburg right back Daniel Opare.
He has failed to settle in the Bundesliga, with his new team and reports are saying that he may be able to leave the German side on a free.
Before the Eagles fans in the Tavern get ahead of themselves it is also important to note that the South Londoners are not the only team interested in his services.
Middlesbrough, Bournemouth and West Brom are reported to be interested in Opare, while their is also interest by championship side Norwich.
With so many clubs in England interested in the former Real Madrid youth player, Pardew may find it difficult to get him.
Palace fans… Would you welcome Opare at your club? Or should you spend on a higher quality defender?
