Our Crystal Palace fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hoping for a good end to the campaign with relegation worries still lurking in their minds at the moment.
The Eagles had been going along very well in recent games with wins against Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal all suggesting that they’d get to safety.
A win against Burnley at the weekend, then, was all they really needed but instead they lost 2-0 and now have to travel to Manchester City still in search for definite safety.
It remains to be seen, then, if they can achieve that but it also remains to be seen just who the club goes for in the summer window.
The Daily Mail, though, appears to have at least one idea of who the Eagles may go for – Benjamin Moukandjo from Lorient.
The powerful forward would certainly provide some competition for Christian Benteke next season with him notching 13 goals this season and that would surely benefit Palace as they look for a more successful 2017/18.
