Crystal Palace: Fans baffled by Roy Hodgson’s substitution

Many Crystal Palace fans have lambasted a double substitution from manager Roy Hodgson during their match versus Leicester City yesterday.
Is Camarasa underused?
Yes

No

With Palace 1-0 down in the 78th minute, Roy Hodgson made the move to bring on Christian Benteke and James McCarthy, while taking off Jordan Ayew and James McArthur – a decision which got hounded by fans on social media.
Many fans could be seen asking about loan signing Victor Camarasa – who has made just one league appearance for Palace so far this season – when they were in need for a creative and attacking input.
The Eagles rarely failed to threaten an accomplished Leicester City side. The away team had 56 per cent of possession, and despite the shooting statistics being fairly even with Palace having 12 shots to their 14, the away side were comfortable winners and never looked like getting anything other than three points after they went ahead (BBC).
Some fans even asked what the point is in paying Victor Camrasa’s wages with him having such little game time this season – just five minutes (WhoScored) in the league.
Here are some of the responses from fans below…
Yeah nah no point in bringing on an attacking player like Camarassa for Macca
