Several Crystal Palace fans have been showing their appreciation for Jeffrey Schlupp after a club post.
Yesterday marked three years at Selhurst Park for the 27-year-old following his transfer from Leicester City back in 2017, prompting the Eagles’ official Twitter account to share a celebratory tweet. It brought with it a host of positive replies, which is hardly surprising.
Within those three years, Schlupp has proven to be a good servant for the club. He has made just under 100 appearances and played in various positions, showing his willingness to adapt.
According to Transfermarkt, the Ghana international has been used at left-back, on the left wing and in midfield during his time in south London. Playing in those roles this season, he has averaged 0.6 dribbles per game, which is the fifth highest in the squad (via WhoScored). Not the most prolific in that area, but it does show that Schlupp is one of the better ball carriers in Roy Hodgson’s ranks.
