Crystal Palace fans in the Transfer Tavern have had a tough old time this season without their star man, 25-year-old Wilfried Zaha. The Eagles are yet to win a game that Zaha is unavailable for and all of the club’s six wins have come in games which their wing-wizard has played a full 90 minutes. However, after his recent update, fans have been left to believe they could see their man back in action sooner than expected.

The Selhurst Park faithful will be delighted with the update, coming directly from the man himself. Despite the encouraging signs from the ex-Manchester United man, Palace will have to fare without him as they travel to Old Trafford tonight to face the Ivorian’s old club.
Roy Hodgson’s side are currently languishing in 18th place in the Premier League table on 27 points despite a recent upturn in form since the start of the season. Palace lost their first seven league games without scoring a single goal, however with the appointment of the former England, Liverpool and Inter Milan boss fans of the Eagles have been able to realistically plan for life in the Premier League next season.
A win tonight for Crystal Palace could lift them to as high as 13th in the league, although they’ll have to do without their magic-man, Wilfried Zaha, for the time being, a scary notion! Still, they have had been pleased with his update and the idea of having him back soon has given them something to shout about indeed.
