Many Crystal Palace fans have praised manager Roy Hodgson for his community work for the Palace for Life Foundation.
The 72-year-old manager was seen at the club’s Down’s Syndrome Eagles’ training session and was pictured with many of the juniors as the players had an ‘unforgettable night’, according to the foundation’s Twitter page.
Hodgson joined Crystal Palace Ladies players Ashlee Hincks and Freya Holdaway at the training session, which resulted in some extremely wholesome pictures which circulated on social media.
Fans of the club expressed their respect for the manager, who has now been at Crystal Palace for over two years, by giving their responses on Twitter.
This is not the first time Hodgson has thrown himself into showing support for the foundation. In September, the manager spoke at one of their events, saying that he was “proud to be part of football” after seeing what kind of impact it can have first-hand, per this CPFC article.
