Crystal Palace fans have reacted on Twitter after they found out that their striker Alexander Sorloth, who is out on loan at Belgian side Gent, netted the winner on his debut for his new side.
The big Norwegian’s goal will no doubt have had fans wondering why he couldn’t do the same for the Eagles during his 12-month stay at Selhurst Park, in which time he netted just a solitary strike against Championship side Swansea in the League Cup.
Apart from the 23-year-old’s strike against the Swans, only Jordan Ayew has found the back of the net this season out of all of Palace’s frontmen, including Christian Benteke and Connor Wickham.
The south London side are desperate to bring in a striker this month to ease their woes in front of goal – Roy Hodgson’s men, with 23 goals in 23 games, are amongst the lowest scoring teams in the Premier League.
Understandably, Sorloth’s match-winning strike has got Palace fans debating why he couldn’t do the same for them…
Did you see how much space and time the defence gave him? Never get that in the prem.

Great, does that mean we can sell him, try & get some of the fee back to get Roy some much needed back up from Parish in the window.
